Who We Are

Delicious by Shereen is a non profit catering company that believes that food brings people and cultures together.

My vision is to proudly share my dishes of contemporary and classical Mediterranean cuisine with a familiar smile and an unfamiliar twist. Our goal is to help the refugee community in the Piedmont Triad by offering them the opportunity to work, using their cooking skills to help their families and increase their dignity by working rather than asking for help.

Our business model is built upon social benefit for those in need. We're interested primarily in helping people help themselves by becoming productive members of society who contribute to their community – this is truly one of the best way to integrate into life here in America. It's been said before, but we want to give people a hand up instead of a handout.

What We’re Looking For

Delicious by Shereen is currently seeking a talented, part time, Social Media Coordinator who can assist with crafting a strong brand story across its social platforms while improving its overall online presence.The candidate for this role should be self motivated and have good ownership of their time and project management. The position will be required to work primarily in downtown Winston-Salem, with opportunities throughout the month for remote working as well.

Part Time position, 20-25 hours per month
Create content for social media posts that align with the Delicious by Shereen brand
Showcase details and standards for creativity, engagement and overall quality
Curate engaging text, image and video content
Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and transform into new client leads
Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to any inquiries
Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and engagement metrics
Attend catering events, as needed throughout the month to take photos and curate content
Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
Manage and execute content strategy across several platforms and digital needs
Utilize existing brand photography and photograph new content as needed to stay current
Monitor trends in social media tools and applications
Send email blasts to prospective and current clients to gain foot traffic

Local to the Piedmont Triad (Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point) with the ability to have transportation to offsite events
Passionate about mission based work and helping others
Proficiency in written and verbal communication
Expertise in multiple social media platforms
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Graphic design and photography experience is a plus
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
1-2 years minimum, Industry specific or third party social media experience
Ability to work under deadlines
Must be willing to sign a photo release and NDA
